Known for its stunning vistas and steep rock faces, Mount Lemmon is a popular hiking destination in the Santa Catalina Mountains. At 9,157 feet, it is the tallest summit in that mountain range and is close to Tucson, making it perfect for weekend day trips and outdoor exploration. Often described as a “sky island,” the peak soars above the Sonoran Desert.
